Tightening

What is MPR toroidal radio frequency treatment?
A truly revolutionary process, MPR toroidal radio frequency is a natural way to firm and rejuvenate the skin of many areas of the body. This 100% safe technology offers smoother, firmer skin, all without surgery or pain. This treatment is an ideal solution to reduce wrinkles on the face or to treat cellulite, stretch marks or scars.
How does MPR Toroidal RF technology work?
This highly sophisticated device uses radio frequency waves from the MPR toroidal RF medical system. During the treatment, these waves infiltrate the different layers of the skin and thus generate heat. This thermal heat then makes it possible to accelerate the metabolism, but also to increase the flexibility of the dermis. All of this leads to the formation of new fibres in your skin. These new fibres and tissues make your skin appear younger, and give skin tone and vitality. Basically, the radio frequency applied during the treatment to the area of your choice revives your tissues’ ability to renew.
What the MPR treatment can do for your face
The MPR process makes skin appear younger, firmer, and healthier without any injections or surgery. In addition, it is possible to tackle issues such as crow's feet, orange peel skin, loose skin, the wrinkled appearance of the cheeks or certain scars. With MPR treatments, you will notice skin tightening, firming, the regeneration of your natural collagen as well as a decrease in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines brought about through aging.
What the MPR treatment can do for your body
In addition to the many benefits that the MPR toroidal radio frequency treatment brings to your face, it can also bring great improvements to various parts of your body, especially regarding cellulite, stretch marks or certain scars. It is therefore a multifunctional treatment that has really revolutionized the market. In terms of cellulite, the heat generated by radio frequency can produce an acceleration of blood circulation, a faster metabolism and new collagen in the skin. In addition, this warming significantly reduces liquids and toxins that can lodge in areas of cellulite.

Rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition, which affects nearly three million Canadians. Normally, the condition progresses over several years. There are many subtypes of rosacea, the severity and symptoms of which differ from one individual to another. Rosacea mainly causes redness of the skin and is most often concentrated on the central area of the face.
The first sign of rosacea can be redness, which comes and goes over a period of a few months. With time, this redness intensifies and becomes more visible.
Skin rashes or redness are sometimes confused with rosacea and we often hear the two terms used to describe the condition. However, a skin rash or redness is the most common symptom of rosacea, the dilation of very small blood vessels that will become visible on the skin.
Rosacea is not an irreversible condition. It is possible to reduce the extent of redness caused by rosacea by using certain specialized creams or various non-invasive treatments. A treatment plan can easily be established following a clinical consultation.
Brown spots
Brown spots, also known as dark spots, are most often caused by prolonged sunbathing and aging.
These small spots, ranging from café au lait colour to very dark brown, most often appear on parts of the skin exposed to the sun such as the face, neck, décolleté and hands. Although they are normally more common after the age of 40, they are not, contrary to popular belief, "age spots". In reality, they form due to an excess of melatonin, when the skin has been too frequently exposed to the sun. Fortunately, pigment spots are treatable, but then it is important to protect the skin from the sun at all times or they will most likely return.
There are three types of brown spots:
- Solar lentigines: surface spots that look like freckles but more extensive. They appear after intensive and prolonged exposure to the sun (or UVA tanning salons) and are more prevalent in fair skinned people.
- Seborrheic keratoses: skin growths that look waxy, scaly, and slightly raised. They are usually light brown to very dark in colour. They are more common after the age of 50 and are hereditary in nature.
- Melasma: a superficial or dark patch on the skin, sometimes called the mask of pregnancy or chloasma. Melasma is a brown and mottled hyperpigmentation of the skin, in areas exposed to the sun. Women with a darker skin type are more likely to get melasma, and it is especially common in women of reproductive age. It is usually triggered by the combination of hormones and exposure to UV rays.
Redness of the skin
Besides redness, one of the symptoms of rosacea described above, there are many other causes for red skin. Whether acne or any other skin condition, the reason for the redness remains the same: a dilation of the blood vessels in the skin at the layer of the dermis, below the epidermis. Redness can be treated with creams, but also with laser treatments or with microdermabrasion.
The dilation of the vessels can be caused by various external factors:
- Physical exercise;
- Consumption of alcohol or spicy food;
- Certain medications;
- Stress;
- Exposure to heat;
- Hormonal changes (pregnancy, menopause).
People with sensitive skin are more likely to react to these external factors, which requires special attention.
Large pores
Although tiny and seemingly harmless, skin pores are essential to skin health. They not only allow the skin to breathe and sweat to escape, they also evacuate excess sebum. While mostly invisible, skin pores can sometimes appear more noticeable and affect skin appearance. Indeed, if they become enlarged and clogged, they expand and become noticeable. More apparent on the chin, forehead and nose, enlarged or clogged pores can affect anyone regardless of their skin type, although they are more common in people with oily skin.
The most common cause of large pores is the presence of impurities lodged in them. In women, inadequate makeup removal is one of the main reasons for enlarged pores. A lack of hydration is also a factor that can aggravate their dilation.
This imperfection is not permanent. It is possible to reduce large pores and improve the texture of your skin. And remember, several non-surgical methods, which have been tried and tested extensively, exist.
